I knew it was coming… When we went to the EDS conference, one of the doctors told us that Stryder does not have EDS. The doctor was doing a presentation on vascualr issues in EDS and said that root dilation do not occur in EDS with children younger than 10- and they do not get larger than 2 (or somewhere in there) and more. When I said that Stryder was 5 and has a z-score of 3.55, he said it’s not EDS. Well, yesterday we had a phone consult with Dr. Francomano who apologized and agreed that it is not EDS. She is very worried because he also has a hole in his heart and thinks that there is more…
